Privacy Policy
AI Operations respects the privacy of its website visitors and product users. We handle personal data responsibly and in a manner appropriate to each service.
Last updated: 7 October 2026
Scope
This Policy explains how data is handled when you use:
- The AI Operations website.
- Mwatrk, the vehicle maintenance tracking app.
- The nonprofit governance platform pages, which are currently informational only.
Data practices differ by service. The sections below describe each service separately.
Website
Data We Collect
We may collect information voluntarily submitted through the contact form, including your name, email address, message subject, and message content.
The website may also collect limited technical information about visits, pages, and devices through approved operational and analytics tools to protect the website, measure performance, and improve the user experience.
When you submit the contact form, the website processes your IP address to verify that the submission is not automated and to limit repeated submissions. The address is shared with Cloudflare for that purpose. The website does not retain the IP address itself in its rate-limiting record; it retains only a one-way hash together with submission times.
How We Use Website Data
We use this data to:
- Respond to inquiries and communications.
- Process feedback and requests submitted through the website.
- Protect the website from automated submissions and misuse.
- Measure and improve website performance.
- Comply with applicable legal or regulatory requirements when necessary.
The current website does not store contact-form submissions in its own database. Messages are delivered to the email services used by AI Operations and are retained only as reasonably necessary to handle the request and meet applicable requirements, then deleted or archived according to legitimate business needs.
Cookies and Analytics
The website may use technologies required for operation or privacy-conscious analytics tools. Their use is limited to protecting, operating, measuring, and improving the website.
Mwatrk App
Data Stored on Your Device
Mwatrk helps users manage vehicle and maintenance information locally. Data stored on your device may include:
- Vehicle information and odometer readings.
- Maintenance visits, work items, costs, and notes.
- Receipt images and attachments.
- Reminders and scheduled notifications.
- Language, appearance, and selected-vehicle settings.
- Previously viewed recall records and recall-information cache.
- Temporary files created during import, export, backup, or vehicle-data sharing.
- Locally cached entitlement status when Premium is used.
The current version of Mwatrk does not require an AI Operations account and does not provide cloud synchronization for vehicle or maintenance data. This data remains on your device unless you choose to export, back up, or share it to a destination you select.
Import, Export, and Backup
Import, export, and backup operations are initiated by you. When you save or share a file, a copy moves to the location or app you selected and is then governed by that destination’s settings and policies. Deleting Mwatrk data does not delete copies you saved outside the app’s storage.
Photos, Files, and Notifications
Mwatrk may request access to photos or files when you choose to attach a receipt image, import a file, or save a copy. It may request notification permission to deliver local maintenance reminders. You can manage these permissions in your device settings.
Recall Information
When recall information is available, the app downloads a published recall-data file and performs matching locally on the device. It does not send the VIN, plate number, maintenance history, or vehicle data to the recall source for matching.
Advertising
The Free version of Mwatrk displays non-personalized ads (see iOS tracking permission below) through Google AdMob. Mwatrk does not add vehicle information, VINs, plate numbers, maintenance records, or user-entered text to an ad request.
Google may process technical information needed to deliver and measure ads and prevent fraud, such as IP address, device and app information, advertising identifiers when available, ad interactions, and consent information, subject to device and platform settings and Google’s policies. Ads are not shown to Premium users while their entitlement remains active.
Tracking permission on iOS
On iPhone and iPad, Mwatrk asks for your permission, through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt, before letting Google use your device’s advertising identifier for ads in the Free version. Your choice is optional, and ads appear in the Free version whichever way you answer; in both cases they are non-personalized, and none of your vehicle details, maintenance records or notes are sent with ad requests.
If you allow it, Google may use the advertising identifier, and an optional app-level identifier its software can create (publisher first-party ID), to measure ads, limit how often you see the same ad and prevent fraud. If you decline, or tracking is restricted on your device, Mwatrk does not use your advertising identifier and switches that app-level identifier off.
Declining does not stop ads, so the ad provider still receives the basic technical information needed to show one: your IP address (from which it may infer an approximate location), device and app information, ad interactions, and an identifier its software creates for each installation of the app, which Mwatrk has no setting to disable. Our legal basis is your consent for the advertising identifier, and our legitimate interest in funding the Free version, measuring ads and preventing fraud for the basic technical information sent with every ad request.
You can change your choice at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
Advertising identifier on Android
On Android, the ad provider’s software may use your device’s advertising ID (unless you have deleted or reset it) together with your IP address and device and app information to show, measure and secure non-personalized ads in the Free version. No vehicle details, maintenance records or notes are sent with ad requests. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in funding the Free version, measuring ads and preventing fraud. You can delete or reset your advertising ID, and opt out of ads personalization, in your device’s Ads or Privacy settings.
Subscriptions and Premium
When subscriptions are available, purchases and billing are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play. Mwatrk uses RevenueCat to verify entitlement and manage Premium status when its production configuration is enabled. These providers may process transaction, product, entitlement, and technical purchase identifiers under their own policies. AI Operations does not receive full payment-card details from the store.
RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier generated for your installation, your purchase and Premium-entitlement information, and, on iOS, the current status of your tracking permission. It may also receive technical information needed to process these requests, such as app version, locale and country or region. It does not receive your name or email address from Mwatrk, or any of your vehicle, maintenance or notes data.
Analytics and Crash Reporting
Mwatrk does not currently use Firebase Analytics or Firebase Crashlytics. The Crashlytics library may be present in the iOS app, but it is not initialized and sends no data. If analytics or crash-reporting services are enabled in the future, this Policy and the relevant store disclosures will be updated before they are enabled for users.
Retention and Deletion
Local Mwatrk data remains on the device until you delete it, remove the app, or use Delete all Mwatrk data.
This action deletes the app database and its side files; vehicle, maintenance, reminder, and recall records; receipt images stored by the app; recall cache; app-owned staging and temporary files; settings; and scheduled notifications. The app may temporarily retain one recovered database artifact for no longer than 30 days. It is removed sooner when no longer needed and is also removed by the local deletion action.
Deleting local data does not:
- Delete backups or files you saved outside the app’s storage.
- Cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription.
- Delete records retained by Apple, Google, or Google AdMob under their policies.
- Delete the local entitlement status needed to avoid incorrectly downgrading a Premium user while store verification is unavailable.
Deleting your subscription-verification record
To ask us to delete the subscription-verification record held for your installation at RevenueCat, send a Privacy request through the Contact page and include your Support ID (shown in Mwatrk under Profile → Subscription) — or, if you no longer have the app installed, your App Store or Google Play order number. We respond within 30 days. Deleting this record does not cancel your subscription with the store.
If you keep using Mwatrk after we delete this record, a new anonymous record may be created the next time the app checks your Premium status, and a paid subscription will be recognised again from your store account.
If you no longer have the app installed and have never made a purchase, there is no identifier that links the record to you, and we will not be able to locate it.
You can manage or cancel a subscription through the relevant store. You may submit a request about data controlled by AI Operations or its managed providers through the Privacy Requests section below.
Nonprofit Governance Platform
The platform is under development, and its current pages are informational only. The current pages do not provide platform accounts and do not accept governance documents or organization data. Messages submitted about the platform through the contact form are governed by the Website section of this Policy.
This Policy will be updated before the platform launches or begins collecting data to describe the relevant data types, processing purposes, service providers, retention periods, and user controls. Do not submit confidential documents or unnecessary personal data through the general contact form.
Service Providers
AI Operations and its products use the following providers depending on the service and feature used:

AI Operations does not sell personal data and shares it only as necessary to provide or protect a service, carry out your request, or meet a legal requirement.
Data Protection
AI Operations applies appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect data during transmission and processing. Protection of data stored locally by Mwatrk also depends on device and operating-system protections and user settings. No electronic method can guarantee absolute security, so safeguards are reviewed according to the nature and risks of each service.
